How do I Contact You?
Why won't you respond to my AIM/Yahoo/ICQ/MSN message? The easiest method is through the message services (AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo). I tend to leave my self logged in most of the day, and am usually visible, though not searchable. A word of caution: don't assume if my status is 'available' then I'm actually at the computer. I do not set away messages automatically, nor do I remember to set or unset away messages myself.
You're second option is via the email form. I've stopped posting my real email address about a couple years ago since I tend to get overwhelmed by spam. My spam filter is fairly aggressive and is sometimes overzealous in deleting emails. The form ensures the email will be white listed and will pass through the spam filter. It's still possible that I won't see a given message for quite some time. I'm not particularly active in the online community anymore, and not checking email as often as I used to.
How did you make your site? Will you help me with my Website?Believe it or not, I may not be at my computer. I will leave the chat client open and walk away for long periods of time. I have even been known to do disappear in the middle of a conversation. It comes from being highly absent minded and easily distracted.
If we've never met before, or it was so long ago, I may also be deliberately ignoring you. Most random strangers who message me are looking for someone local to meet up with offline. I don't do that so don't ask! - and I get tired of those sort of inquires. Mention something about my website, writings or really anything to indicate you weren't just trolling for new people and happened to come across me.
I came across a "Sarah Tyler" once on the internet, is it you? When I wrote everything in JavaScript, I encouraged everyone to look at the source code. Copy it, change it. Sometimes the best way to learn is to get your hands dirty. Since I've moved to server side, that obviously doesn't work as well.
Take a look at Blue Centauri Consluting for advice, code snippets and downloads that you may find useful. If you want to know how I did something specific, ask. If I haven't written an article about it yet, I either haven't gotten around to it or don't realize its of interest.
Ahh... the curse of having a highly common first name and a highly common last name...
The short answer is probably not. Alas, I am not the Pop Singer, the UK Author or the New York Actress. I think I looked it up once and found several hundred "Sarah Tyler"s in the world. At one point I wasn't even the first "Sarah K Tyler" returned in a google search, although with my new resume domain (sarahktyler.com), that sometimes changes.
